Caddy's, Bugs, and RV's

Day #3 continued as we drove to Amarillo TX. We found a great place to stop for the night. It had a pool and the best of all, it was free. The sweet people at the front give military one night free.  I hope we find more places like this :) The camper was a little warmer this night but still too cold. We have plenty of days ahead to figure out the temperature.
I knew we were going to visit the Cadillac Ranch but The Bug Ranch was a quick addition. When I was a little girl my mom had a yellow beetle. She has always loved these cars and for her 60th birthday Dad got her a new one. Yellow and convertible. Emma Rose, has also found a soft spot for these little cars so we had to stop here and get a picture of her at the Slug a Bug Ranch in Amarillo. Emma got her permit a couple of weeks ago and she is hoping to be driving a bug when she turns 16! To end the day we landed at the Caddilac Ranch! Such an odd site but very fun. All these cadillacs standing in the ground in the middle of a corn field. We got us some spray paint and went to town.
Sure enough to stay with the theme of cars in the ground, our campground had an RV standing nose down right when we pulled in.
