Petrified Forest and Painted Desert NP Day 7

Contining west, we stopped at the Painted Desert and Petrified Forest NP. The Painted Desert was beautiful. My pictures can not capture the beauty. There was so many colors that seemed to go on forever. I could have looked at it all day. The Petrified Forest was equally amazing. The wood turned rocks are incredible. They really look like wood but when you touched it, it was a rock! It was  definitely amazing to experience both of these parks. We continued west and traveled on route 66 for a while. We were able to drive by the WigWam Village in Holbrook. An inspirational spot for the Cars movie. The kids thought that was fun! :)We landed west of Flagstaff and CANT WAIT to see the Grand Canyon tomorrow!
